Superintendent's Message

Dr. Greg M. Miller

Dear Parents and Fleetwood Families,

Back to school is an exciting time. For many, it is a time of new beginnings: Kindergarteners entering school for the first time to high school seniors nervous about their final year, as well as the teachers and administrators planning for a successful year in the district.

The Fleetwood Area School District faculty and staff are dedicated to providing educational experiences to empower all students, to cultivate knowledge, and develop the desire to learn life-long skills. The skills that will enable them to become responsible and productive citizens of a dynamic global community. Communication between families, staff and community members is essential.  Please stay in touch with us throughout the year.  To help with communication, I encourage all families to utilize our Home Access Center. The Home Access Center can be accessed through the district’s website www.fleetwoodasd.org.  If you need assistance with logging into Home Access Center, please contact the Information Technology Department at 610.944.8111, x 1500. If there is a need for you to update your contact information, a Contact Form is listed on the district website for you to complete and return. Additionally, I would encourage you to follow me on Twitter as I continue to highlight many of the wonderful things occurring within the Fleetwood Area School District (follow me @MillerFASD).

I am looking forward to a great year as we nurture our students’ love of learning and continue to be amazed at their abilities. I welcome your ideas and input and encourage you to contact me at gmiller@fleetwoodasd.org. Thank you for the opportunity to serve your students and this community. The Fleetwood Area School District faculty and staff understand the important role that we play in the lives of our students.

Sincerely,

Greg M. Miller, Ed.D

Superintendent
