Students of the Month - December

Abigail Geschwindt

Abigail is the daughter of Jamie and Kelli Geschwindt of Shoemakersville.  Abigail’s future plans include attending a four-year college to pursue a degree in environmental science.  Abigail has been involved in the following clubs/activities at Fleetwood Area High School:  Softball Manager, Film Club, Sustainable Students, Science Olympiad, Book Club, National Honor Society, Rho Kappa Historical Honor Society, Band, Softball and Volleyball.   Also, Abigail has dedicated herself to the community by being actively involved in volunteering through Girl Scouts and has earned the Gold Award.  Abigail states that one person she admires is her mother, Kelli.   Abigail proclaims her mother has been by her side through thick and thin and always reminders her to be strong and preserve through her problems.  Abigail says her mother always encourages her to try her best and pursue her passion and she is the strongest person she knows. 

 

Wyatt Hetrick

Wyatt is the son of Matthew and Christy Hetrick of Kutztown.  Wyatt’s future plans include attending college to follow pre-medial track.   Wyatt has been involved in the following clubs/activities at Fleetwood Area High School:  Chess Club, Book Club, Future Business Leaders of America, and Student Council.  Also, Wyatt has dedicated himself to the community by being actively involved in volunteering through Boy Scouts and at his church.  Wyatt states that one person he admires is his father, Matthew.   Wyatt proclaims that his father realizes pain is a part of life, accepts it and allows it to enrich other parts of his life, which he admires.
