How to Evaluate Websites!
Students will be put in groups of 2 or 3 studentsand assigned a website to evaluate using the "Rating Web Sites" worksheet. Students should read each question carefully and circle the correct answer. Once the worksheet is completed, students will total each column and then come up with score for their website..
-
Any website that rates 32 or higher or should be considered a good website.
-
Website that rate between 31-25 should be used as a resource with caution.
-
Finally any website with a score less than 25 should be avoided.
Even if a website rates high using one of these forms, common sense should always be used when looking at a website. If it looks fake it just might be! In that case you may want to seek the help of an adult to figure out if the site is real or not.

Thanks also to Mrs. Baranowski's Technology Class from the Colonial Academy for suggesting a few of the resources above! Keep up the great work!
