People, Places, & Things
A student's person, place, and thing will be assigned by having students pull bookmarks out each of the three cups. On the worksheet students should fill in the names of all three in the appropriate space so that they will know what their topics are next time, since the research stage will take place over a few class meetings.
In order to complete the assignment, students are required to find three facts about each of the subjects. The resources below should be used to find the information. There are a number of Subject Search sites available for student use, as well as some Search Engines. Remember that subject search sites are the best. Searching for inventors, states, and inventions on a subject search site such as "Yahoo Kids!" may be your best bet, or if you want to find thousands of sites to work off of you would want to visit Google.
Make sure you use the skills you learned about website evaluation before trusting the websites you find. Also, don't forget to give credit to your source by writing down the web address in the proper location under each of the boxes on the worksheet.

This is the list of web resources you must use to complete the activity...

This site has been in existence for about 10 years, and honestly it was time for an update. Some of the course related content is being updated at this time to reflect the newly revamp course curriculum and some parts of the site may take a little to get up and running. Thanks for your patience.
Your feedback and comments on the new layout are always welcome.

- Common Sense
- STOP CyberBullying
- CyberBully Guide
- Make a Difference for Kids
- Cyberbully Research Center
Thanks also to Mrs. Baranowski's Technology Class from the Colonial Academy for suggesting a few of the resources above! Keep up the great work!
