School Board Vacancy

The Board of School Directors of the Fleetwood Area School District is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the Board due to a recent resignation.

The term to be filled by the Board will continue until December 2019.

2018-2019 Student Accident Information

The student accident insurance program is now available for parents/guardians to elect additional medical insurance coverage. The additional insurance covers injuries that occur while a student is traveling to and from school, or attending school sponsored activities such as plays, assemblies, class trips, intramural sports, gym and physical education classes, etc.  The costs associated with the additional coverage are included in the attached form.  If a parent opts to purchase the coverage, please send the form and a check or money order to the address included in brochure.  The district cannot accept payment for the program.

New Procedures for Use of Facilities Requests

Notice to all Use of Facilities Requestors:

Effective January 3, 2018, the district is moving to an online system for requesting use of district facilities.  All requests for the use of any district facility must be made using the School Dude online system.  In order to submit a request, all organizations will be issued a login and password.  You will be able to request a login and password using the community users link below.  After accessing the link, click “Log in to Request Facility Use” in the upper right hand corner of the webpage.  If you do not have a login and password, click “Create One”.  Additional instructions for entering a facility request are available below.  As of February 1, 2018, the district will no longer accept paper forms.  Please contact Heidi Orth at horth@fleetwoodasd.org for additional information or help with the system.

Notice of Intent to Adopt the 2018-2019 Budget

Pursuant to the Taxpayer Relief Act, commonly known as Act 1, the Fleetwood Area School District Board of School Directors hereby gives public notice of their intent to adopt the final budget for fiscal year 2018-2019.  Board action, in this regard, will be taken at the Board’s regularly scheduled public meeting on Tuesday, June 19th, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the District Office Board Room, located at the Fleetwood High School, 801 North Richmond Street, Fleetwood, PA.  Copies of the proposed final budget are available for inspection on the district’s website at www.fleetwoodasd.org , at the District Business Office, or may be obtained by contacting Heidi Orth, Business Manager at 610.944.8111.
